My visit with Dr Vicki March was extraordinary. She spent so much time with me discussing everything. I have never had a physician so thorough and willing to spend that much time with me.

Dr. March is an excellent, caring and bright physician. I have all the confidence in the world in her.

great care

January 22, 2018

Dr. March has been taking care of me for years. She has always treated me with great respect. She spent time listening to my concerns, she had lots of patience with me. She has always calling me back whenever I called her and needed help from her. My family and I have been very fortunate to have Dr. March in our lives.

My visit with Vicki March was disturbing, perplexing, and unsettling. It took 4 months to get an appointment. I arrived 20 minutes early, after 45 minutes she still had not gotten to me when a fire alarm went off. When I arrived my BP was taken and it was 117/51. After waiting more than 45 minutes, then another 20 minutes or more outside in the cold during the fire drill, my BP was taken again with a slightly higher result of 162/60. I explained to Dr. March that I was now a little annoyed, especially since she stated that, "I don't know you. I only see you once a year." (This statement was brought on from her reviewing my medical history and wanting to go into detail about a condition we had talked about, at length when I began seeing her. Next, based on my higher BP Dr. March announced that she thought I have sleep apnea. She never asked about my sleeping habits, nothing related to do I sleep, how well I sleep, and I tired when I get up. For the record, I sleep like a baby. I'm refreshed and ready to start my day when I get up. Now, I do have 2 jobs and own a small business that is growing. I have a right to be tired at the end of my day. She talked about my taking a statin since my cholesterol is normal, but at the high end of normal. I could go on, but why. Will it make a difference.

This provider is excellent. I was referred to her for medical weight loss and she was everything I had hoped. It took FOREVER to get an appointment - I think I made mine in September for January - first available. But it was worth the wait. She needs to train others to be like her and offer similar services as there are a LOT of obese people in Pittsburgh that could use a program like this!!
