Dr. Levinthal was very knowledgeable about my symptoms/concerns and the changes in medications over the last 6 months. He explained how the drugs impacted different organs/areas in the body and asked how I felt along the way. He is very caring and knowledgeable

I was very happy with the visit. The office even called me with a cancelation so I was able to get in to see the doctor much sooner than expected.

I appreciated Dr. Levinthal's creative, holistic approach to my chronic digestive issues instead of simply prescribing more medication. I was also grateful that he did not rush me through a standardized checklist; he gave me all the time as I needed to feel that I was truly receiving personalized care. I did not mind waiting for him to do the same with the patients he saw before my appointment. How refreshing to meet a doctor who practices medicine from a perspective of compassion instead of business!

Dr. Levinthal is one of the best doctors I have met. He showed great care and concern for my health issues. He was very easy to talk with and spoke to me with respect for my worries. I will highly recommend him to others. Every doctor should sit down and talk with their patients in depth as he did with me. I have nothing but good things to say about all of my UPMC doctors but Dr. Levinthal went above and beyond what I've encountered with others.

Dr. Levinthal is very thorough and caring.

April 20, 2017

Dr.Levinthal goes above and beyond every time I see him. my situation is unique and he studies up every single time. We never leave his office without the appointment without a new part to our game plan. He doesn't talk to me like I don't understand my own body or that I don't understand what has happened to me and what will continue to happen to me. He has the utmost respect for his patients and he speaks with me like I am a woman who is sick, not like a medical record number. I'm 29, and I'm extremely blunt, and he respects that in me and he talk to me on my level, and it is incredibly rare to find a doctor who will talk to you, let alone treat you like you are more than the next chart coming in. He is extraordinary.
