Both the Nurse and the Dr were awesome! The nurse could sense my daughter was very nervous. She thoroughly explained everything she was going to do before doing it as well as why it was being done and what sensation (pain or no pain) would be produced. She made my daughter feel very comfortable and was an excellent nurse! The Dr also explained everything to my daughter and answered all questions thoroughly. He was very calm and did not rush us out the door.

My child is on the Autism Spectrum and has difficulty with all doctor's visits and cries typically the entire time from waiting room to exit. She did this there the whole time but i never felt ignored or disrespected. They worked hard to make our experience successful and I left there feeling cared for by doctors, nurses, and staff. Thank you!

my son has a novel of diagnosis, including the troubles he's seen for with his eyes. the doctor was EXTREMELY over scheduled and only spent 7-10 minutes with the 10 children that we waited through before my son. we waited to see the doctor for nearly 2 hours in a waiting room with no toys or entertainment. this has been my most dissatisfied experience with the line office ever

Our appointment was at 10:45 we did not leave until almost 2 PM. When I inquired about the wait I was told "I don't know he's running really far behind." That would have been nice to know once I checked in! My child's eyes were dilated and made her vision blurry-to be expected to sit for hours after the drops are placed is a little unreasonable. This was an annual exam.The physician seemed irritated when giving my daughter directions. The appointment felt very rushed once we were in the exam with the doctor. He apparently didn't even review my daughters chart-as we were leaving he asked if her Ptosis was diagnosed at birth!! If you read the chart you would have realized that. We typically go to PGH for these appointments-but that office canceled this appointment 3 times and we were offered Wexford location to get the visit in-which should have taken place in MARCH. I will NOT go back to Wexford unless it's a dire situation and only if we are NOT seeing Dr. Luchansky.
