Dr Papas was friendly and listened my symptoms.m AFterDr Papas was friendly and listened to me as I told him my symptoms. He ordered a shot after looking at the extras. He said it would elievate the pain and should it not in two to four weeks, he would order an MRI. It was a pleasant visit.

Dr. Papas and staff were prompt, efficient and professional.

When I arrived to my appointment the office did not have any of my x-rays, MRI results, or reports related to my condition. I had to wait almost an hour to be seen because of this. also, when the doctor came in to see me he was confused about when the last time I had an x-ray or MRI and did not know that the images were not at his office. He also admitted that he hadn't read the reports, skimmed them in front of me, and then made recommendations. He was also terse with my wife when she asked him questions.

I was worried about the surgery but after talking to the Dr I felt comfortable that he was doing what was best for me and my situation to get me back on my feet asap. i was really impressed that the Dr called me on a Saturday, it really showed me that he is a concerned and caring professional, thank you for the good care.

papas is a great guy. not conceited, although very able surgeon. he's a minimalist, like most surgeons, but he is friendly and spends adequate time assessing every problem. he works well with this PAs and they're also very helpful.

was my first visit and Dr. Papas and the whole group were extremely kind and attentive.

Best doctor I ever saw. Ahead of my scheduled appointment and the doctor was very interested in my condition and my options. I would recommend Dr. Pappas.

Dr. Papas was fantastic as always, and so were the wonderful X-Ray Tech and Nurse who assisted me during their visit. Fantastic service all around.

Here's a tip for Dr. Papas: Fat people know they're fat. Many of us have even tried or are actively trying to be healthy and lose weight. Some of us are on medications that make weight loss extremely difficult, in spite of our efforts. Some of us do not have the resources to switch to, e.g., a plant-based diet and still feed the other people in our families - I can run the numbers because no, it is not the least expensive diet. Rather than making diet suggestions and then brusquely dismissing concerns, listen to what the patient is telling you. I guarantee you that my broken foot and arthritis resulting from it contribute to an odd gait that increases knee pain, and the injury to my hip and SI joint do too. But Dr. Papas breezed past those; I doubt he even heard what I said. He obviously planned what he had to say before even seeing me. It is clear to me that this knee pain is not going to go away unless I can find someone who will help me more comprehensively deal with the interconnected issues that contribute. I did not feel listened to at all. The doctor tore through what he had to say, cut me off several times, gave me essentially no information about the cortisone injection, and left the room. The PA, equally, seemed unaware that those injections hurt. I talked to friends who have had them and all were shocked that I was told it was "mostly just a big pinch" and then not painful. It's painful. When I walked back out to my car my knee buckled several times; I don't know if there was a numbing agent or if I was supposed to have waited to walk or if it's a side effect of the shot or what. The entire visit was rushed and while the shot has helped and I am glad to have a single-PT visit prescription, I felt wholly disrespected. I'm a person, not a knee with fat on top of it.
