The doctor had completely reviewed my medical record at least in regard to my eye care including previous visits and cataract surgery and was wonderful about taking time to answer my questions. He seemed to remember me and appeared to be on top of my eye issues and thus made me feel very comfortable.

Very good at examination and telling me results.

Great provider, great nurse - woman at front desk needs to learn to say 'please' and 'thank you'. She can be abrupt, doesn't smile, isn't terribly friendly. Also, a gentleman with walker came in while I was checking out. Instead of going down to help him she and the other man in the office told him to come to the desk to check in. He couldn't get his walker up the stairs, and may not have seen the long handicapped walk way, so he parked his walker and slowly and carefully climed the stairs and walked to the desk while hanging onto the handrail and wall. I have to believe that there is some way the receptionist could have gone down to him to help him check in.

I hadn't been here before; Dr. Drexler addressed something that my previous doctor never had, and explained where the problem came from and how it worked and what the new lens would do to correct it, which was great--it's easier to manage something when I'm informed about it.

This was my first visit to this provider and I was very impressed! Everyone was kind and professional and I left feeling like a valued customer. I will most definitely return for future services and pass on recommendations those those I know who are looking for a new eye care provider. Thank you!

Way too long of a wait (30 minutes) before I was seen.

July 27, 2016

I wasn't told about how long the appointment was going to be or what I should bring. I also was unaware that I was going to be getting numbing eye drops and dilating eye drops during the appointment, as I've never had that done before at a routine eye exam. I was never told the exact drug name of the eye drops either, so I would say that I wasn't very well informed about what was being done to my eyes, seems how I was a new patient. I didn't think that it was very nice that after I got the eye drops and had to take my contacts out (which extremely inhibits my vision) that I was sent out to wait in the waiting room for about 25 minutes. So, I couldn't see, wasn't sure if I would be seeing the doctor next, wasn't sure what was a normal or abnormal response to the drugs in my eyes and all the while in public. If you could imagine, it made things a little stressful. I've never had the eye drops and have never had to be at an eye appointment that long. On top of that, the whole reason I even made the appointment was to get contacts, and I couldn't even get them because there is only one lady that orders them and she is on vacation. So now, it's just more time that I have to wait to get my needs truly met. For all these reasons, and because I have received better care for the past 10 years elsewhere (even Walmart is better), I will never come back to this eye office again.
