My care provider is amazing.

January 30, 2017

I had a very pleasant encounter

January 23, 2017

I would highly recommend him to anyone who asked.

January 19, 2017

he was very cocky, not very friendly and I probably won't return.

I had to go to the ER....and I was given this provider for my follow up...Dr. Alex Mammen was very, very good!!! I was very pleased! And Dr. Steven Kearns was a provider also, and he was very, very good and thorough also. I am very happy with the service I recieved!!!

The doctor did not introduce himself when he walked in the door. He also did not introduce himself to my sister who was sitting in the room. The doctor did not have a lot to say during my exam about his findings and did not address anything that had to do with how the eyes can be affected by autoimmune disorders, which is why I was there. I also asked questions regarding why my eyes were dry and he didn't take time to acknowledge that I asked and he also did not answer my question. The doctor put plugs in for dry eyes and did not explain how to care for them and or if there were any precautions I needed to take.

I don't have any problems with the care of the provider, I think Dr. Mammen is a very good doctor and I trust him.

Three hours was too long for a yearly eye exam.

This was a check-up visit. My appointment was at 10:50 am and I was in the waiting room at 10:25 am. I was seen briefly by a nurse at 10:50 and then waited to see the doctor until around 12:15. About 15 minutes later I was seen by a resident who did my exam. About 15 minutes after he was done I finally saw my doctor. "Everything looks fine." Roughly 2 hours between appointment time and finally seeing my doctor with no explanation for the delay. This is really not acceptable.
