January 18, 2018

My visit to the Dr. Baratz was not planned. I slid on ice and went to the UPMC SS Urgi Care where x-rays were done. Upon learning that my arm was broken, the PA made an appointment for me with Dr. Baratz who was at the Roesch-Taylor building that day. I was seen shortly after I arrived and was treated professionally by all with whom I came in contact. I never felt like an add-on.

relaxed atmosphere.

January 17, 2018

The wait was not satisfactory. I checked in at 9:50am for a 10am appointment and waited until 10:40 to be seen. Once I was called back by a technician, I was greeted by a Fellow for the initial exam, X-rays were performed than Dr. Baratz gave his final/full exam.

I really liked that the surgeon and physician assistants remembering what my shoulder was like during surgery and the explanation that they gave. The assistant that took my sutures out was very professional and personable.
