I was apprehensive seeing Dr Horowitz concerning my osteoporosis. The nurse was very kind. I wish I'd gotten her name. Dr Horowitz was very professional, yet she was friendly and compassionate. You don't always see that in physicians who are as in demand as is Dr Horowitz. I have total confidence in her treatment plan.

I waiting over 15 minutes because of a complicated patient before me. I thought the physician was more interested in reading my file than paying attention to me and what I had to say about some minor things. I'm 72 and I felt I was slightly treated as a mere older person. I could feel the babyness in the questions I was asked. I was not told how to prepare for my visits. I was not called the first time after my visit (last year) to discuss what they saw in my xrays and blood tests. This time when I brought it up I was told to have things done before my visit next time. Even though my thyroid results were high (in January), I was not told about it. My PCP saw it in the records in August and change the medication. There was a disconnect here.
