This was one of the best appointments I have ever had in my life. It is clear that Dr. Kietz cares very deeply about his patients; the level of empathy he expressed was incredible. He took the time to get to know me and the history of my illness, explained things clearly and slowly so that I could understand, and took the time to ease my concerns and come up with a treatment plan that I felt comfortable with. I think almost every doctor could learn from Dr. Kietz and his bedside manner.

We live Dr Kietz! Sadly due to a mandatory meeting he had it was obvious he was rushed. Earlier we were given an option to reschedule BUT we had scheduled 4 appts (family) six months ago, we needed to be seen plus we drive 4 hrs one way. Under the pressure he still saw us through our appts but we felt rushed. Sadly, a nurse told us they are being required to book patients every 15-30 minutes which is ok but some patients need longer visits especially during dx stage. Managers/administration staff needs to remember quality time over quantity is what keeps patients coming back. Again, we live Dr K.....his bedside manners, genuine care, over all broad mind is what brings us back.

I love Dr. Kietz. I've been seeing him since my inital diagnosis at 17 years old and I refuse to see anyone else. With my current insurance he is not in network, but again I do not care. He knows me, knows my health issues, has always been so kind, etc. I have never felt rushed with him, and I am so glad that he was the rheumatologist I first saw when my issues started.
