Dr. Edith Tzeng earned her medical degree from the University of Chicago. At the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, Dr. Tzeng completed her internship, residency, research fellowship, and clinical fellowship.

She joined UPMC in 2001 and in 2003, was named chief of vascular surgery at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Pittsburgh. Dr. Tzeng is a proficient researcher and has published several articles in professional journals; she is also a past recipient of the Wylie Scholar Award.

She is board certified in general and vascular surgery, and her clinical practice includes open surgical and endovascular (minimally invasive) treatment of aneurysms, carotid disease, peripheral vascular disease, and dialysis access.

Dr. Tzeng sees patients at the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System.
