had to see the new dr for me because dr engulfed had moved but I do like the dr

May 31, 2019

My appointment with Dr. Amankulor was scheduled for 9:00 a.m. I was told when he was not there at 9:00 a.m. that he was in surgery and would be in in 20 minutes. I met with his NP who removed my staples. I also met with a dietian who couldn't really help because I had not been told exactly what cancer I am dealing with, a social worker and a Dr. Jan Drappatz, Hematology/Oncology. Dr. Amankulor never appeared until I was on my way out of the facility and I was sitting making an appointment for a follow-up MRI in August. I flagged him down as he was heading to his office and briefly talked with him in the area where I was making the appointment. He never did examine me.

A-1 professional care with everyone that I came in contact with on May 6th. Excellent care.

Waited 2 hours for initial appointment, causing a cascading effect on my next appointment (same facility) - spent almost 6 hours at Hillman/Shadyside for 3 appointments lasting less than 10 minutes each.

Provider was borh patient and understanding and provided me with the hope that I might regain the ability to function without chronic pain.
