I was very impressed by Dr. McLane's care. She listened to my explanation of my issue, pulled up Xrays and talked with me about what she saw, and asked lots of questions to get more information about what the issue could be. I left the appointment feeling like I was in good hands, that I was getting the best care, and that we'd get to the bottom of what was causing my pain.

Dr McLane has always allowed me to manage my health but is always there for directions or research into a matter I do not understand. I am extremely comfortable with her decisions and guidance.

Dr McLane showed me the x-rays and MRI of my knee and thoroughly explained what was going on. She also did a physical exam of my knee, including having me take several positions to assess any pain that I might have. Then she went over various options for handling my case. She addressed my questions about potential side effects or complications. Then I decided which treatment option would work for me. She explained it thoroughly and said I would receive a call to schedule. And within five minutes of leaving the clinic I had a call from a scheduler . She couldn't have done any better. She exceeded all my expectations, which were high to start with!

I had expected that the doctor would perform a physical exam of knee, but she did not. She only touched it briefly to confirm that it was not swollen. I have had new symptoms with my knee since my last appointment and I would have appreciated a more thorough examination of it.

Dr. McLane was by far the best medical provider I have encountered in years. She was prepared and her interview of my symptoms, med history, and my concerns were exemplary! She went beyond the knee issues I was seeing her for and investigated the fibula fracture I had recently suffered to make sure her treatment options for my knees did not impact the fracture injury. She explained her diagnosis clearly, offered her suggested treatment plan and expertly executed it. She gave me more valuable information in this visit than I have gotten in multiple doctor visits over the last year! Even my wife commented on how impressive Dr. McLane was!

I have already recommended Dr. McLane to friends and family. She was so thorough. She saw issues I didn't know I had till she pointed them out.

Dr Mclane identified that I was probably favoring my historically injured foot, which I did not realize. She encouraged me to gradually put pressure on it at my own speed which is working well. She examined the several areas of pain touching and moving each spot. I felt she did a great job listening, and also did a thorough physical which showed she had heard my concerns.

It seemed like she got mad at me for asking a question so after that I didn't ask no more questions.

Dr. McLane gets it, but she also knows that I have an opportunity to ameliorate the pain with which I have been living for the past several years. However, I shall need to ask for & accept help. One of the best, if not the best, medical appointments I have ever had. The attending and RN were both very attentive and asked a lot of relevant questions, working with me to fully understand what was happening and avenues for treatment. They explained the X-rays, walked me through the ultrasound in real time, and ensured I fully understood what was going on. Treatment options were discussed thoroughly and the path forward was well understood.

DR McClane seemed to have a preconceived notion of my issue before I even spoke to her. She was miserable and at first, treated me as if I had no idea what I was talking about. Only after my explanation and then review of my Xrays did she realize that Yes, I did know very well what my issue was.

As a provider myself, I often try my best to consider the patient's perspective when evaluating myself. Being a patient of Dr McLanes, I can say with confidence that she should be the golf standard for how providers should interact with patients. Despite running behind, she genuinely apologized for the delay and still gave me time instead of rushing through appointment. She was to sure to explain everything to me as she was performing procedure (PRP injection). She also validated my pain (where as referring physician kind of downplayed it). I certainly am going to try to emulate her bedside manner and patient interactions going forward in my own workday.
