Alicia Trbovich, PhD, is a neuropsychologist at the UPMC Sports Medicine Concussion Program and an assistant professor at the University of Pittsburgh Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. She received her doctorate in clinical health psychology from East Carolina University and completed her residency in clinical neuropsychology at the University of Florida, followed by her fellowship in clinical neuropsychology at the UPMC Sports Medicine Concussion Program.
Dr. Trbovich’s clinical interests include management of sport-related concussion, neuropsychological assessment following mild traumatic brain injury, and pediatric neuropsychology. She has completed expensive research in risk factors influencing recovery following sport-related concussion, treatment factors, behavioral management/intervention, and concussion outcomes, as well as in the role of sleep in recovery from concussion.
