During this emergency appointment the doctor was fine. Found that I had no eye infection. Could have explained symptoms a bit more. Reviewed ongoing eye care. Resident ws thorough but neutral.

Dr. Harwick was excellent. She did a very thorough exam, refer to previous medical notes and asked me to have some testing as a baseline. She took her time and seemed genuinely concerned!

It would have been appreciated if the care provider spent more time addressing this patient's needs and concerns (such as actively asking questions, practicing active listening skills and empathy, and communicating directly to patient rather than resident student, etc.) This care provider spent minimal time with this patient. This patient spent more time with the student completing her residency- which is not what this patient intended nor initially scheduled a visit for. Overall, this patient was dissatisfied with their experience. However, the student completing residency seemed very knowledgeable and competent.
