Excellent result of mitral valve repair. Dr. Yoon could have spent more time describing the surgery, recovery and rehab.

Dr. Yoon is an exceptional cardiac surgeon, and I appreciated all he did for my surgery. His comments before and after my surgery concerning my weight I understand, but some of his "comments" were "inappropriate" and were also "rude" and quite embarrassing at times not only to me, but to others around. His "professionalism" skills, I believe, need some work. Also, I was unaware of titanium plates placed on my sternum until my four-week followup visit. I would think this is something the patient should be made aware of immediately after surgery. When asking questions about some of the pain, tightness, I was feeling, he seemed irritated that I asked the same question. Is it not part of his job to show some concern and, if need be, re-answer a patient's question. I mean this is the first time I ever had this type of surgery. I re-asked this question after finding out the titanium plates placed on my sternum (which I was unaware of).

The whole team of the provider reflects the provider approach to the patient. This includes Kasey, scheduler and admin., the P.A. Jenn. All provided me with respect and made me feel comfortable in this process of a serious operation that I will be facing. Great team and wonderful human touch. I am very happy with this provider and his team.
