Nilesh Patil, MD, is an orthopaedic surgeon. He received his medical degree from the B.J. Medical College in Pune, India. He completed his residency at the G.S. Medical College and King Edward VII Memorial Hospital Program at the University of Mumbai in India. He completed an adult reconstruction (complex hip and knee arthroplasty) fellowship at Stanford University Medical Center, a sports medicine fellowship at Penn State Orthopedics, an adult reconstruction and sports medicine fellowship at the Insall Scott Kelly Institute for Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine, and an adult reconstruction fellowship at Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital in Pune, India.
Dr. Patil’s clinical interests include adult reconstructive surgery, joint replacement, and shoulder procedures. His research interests reconstructing bone loss, total hip and knee arthroplasty, and hip and knee reconstructive surgery. Everything was explained to me very well and explained in layman's language that was easily understood. Very caring and patient ......listening to my worries and concerns. Dr Patil truly was wonderful. To be honest, I was scared too death but after talking with him I feel so much better and much more confident about upcoming surgery.
