The doctor is very caring and had outlined a clear path to changes to my diseases. She has called after hours to ensure meds were helping overall in the past. Before the doctor diagnosis with this illnesses, I have seen numerous docs (even at UPMC) with no outcome or path forward, she has provided me with a overall diagnosis, path forward, and is "caring". She has saved my life to where I can now start to live again!

Sure was very thorough and explained everything clearly. She showed her experience and knowledge while being respectful and kind.

Dr. Challinor has been extremely diligent in covering all aspects and possibilities in treating my particular disease. She definitely goes way above the call of duty with respect to my care, and I am very lucky to be under her care. Sometimes though, when she is explaining something to me, she explains things in a way that can be hard for someone lacking her knowledge and expertise to immediately grasp. This is partially my fault for not interrupting her when this happens, and asking her to explain things in a way that can be understood by an average person. But this is a minor complaint, and on the whole I am very fortunate to have Dr. Challinor as one of my team of doctors.

I have been seeing Dr. Challinor for years and love her!

I would be in very poor health if Dr. Challinor, (to whom Dr. Jan Johnson had referred me) had not diagnosed and treated me successfully for Cushing's disease. She correctly ordered the necessary tests and referred me for surgery by Dr. Gardner to remove a tumor from my pituitary gland. The procedure and continued care has resulted in my return to good health and probably ultimately was life saving.
