Dr. Givilber is extremely knowledgeable in her field of medicine. She is compassionate, has a sense of humor, and makes one feel very comfortable with her care.

Dr. Givelber was one of the many UPMC doctors who saved my life in January of this year. Dr. Givelber saw me when I first entered intensive care at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital and visited me often when I was in the step-down unit. She prescribed a C-pap device to deal with severe sleep apnea, something she diagnosed when I was in the hospital. I've since used the machine and it has helped me get a better night's sleep. On this visit on July 17, 2017, Dr. Givelber recognized that I'd had a tough month in June due to shoulder pain and other back issues. She felt I needed an adjustment in my settings on my Bi-pap machine and made them. Since the visit, I've been sleeping better thanks to the new settings. I told Dr. Givelber when I saw her that I can't thank her enough for helping save my life when I had pneumonia back in January.

Very compassionate, really listened. Comprehensive in gathering history. Shared her thought process, reviewed results thoroughly, and got to the root of the problem quickly. I had confidence in her expertise. A great care experience.

Dr. Givelber was punctual, courteous and knowledgeable to me. She explained what could be causing my condition and gave me advice and initiated testing to help me. The entire experience was positive.

Highly professional while still being congenial.

extremely detailed concerning medications and allergies already listed in system. questioning about medications having no pertinence to the visit friendly and caring manner but would like to discuss specific reason and sleep data more closely instead of superfund information question why a sleep speciAlist feels 5 hours of sleep per night is adequate when other physicians have expressed concern.
