Dr Ward was impressive. Very nice man, professional and explained things in detail. Talked to my son AND to us in ways we could understand. His knowledge and details made us feel confident with his answers and decisions regarding further treatment. Incredibly knowledgeable and never made us feel rushed.

Wouldn't recommend him to anybody who actually wants to know what's going on with their body.

The doctor was very rude, didn't listen, and felt like he didn't care, and rushed the visit.

Ward was great!

A lot of Dr's make you feel like you can't ask questions and seem to be arrogant making it uncomfortable and I didn't feel that way at all. Very friendly and personable!

He refused to discuss in more detail my complaints about prior treatment to me and my daughter that dr ward was In charge of. He continued to try to brush them under the rug and blame them on it being end of day when he wasn't "supposed" to be there or the NAT protocol net being too large in stead of taking any full responsibility for himself being he was a lead doctor at a teaching hospital.

Dr. Ward is extremely condescending. Both myself and my son felt as though his ego was too large to be bothered with our concerns. We travel to this hospital because UPMC Children's saved our daughter's life, and we have the upmost respect for this hospital. I left this appointment feeling very let down and upset. I will never bring my children back to this clinic and I won't recommend it to anyone.

Dr. Ward spent a lot of time with us - it was really appreciated.
- 2 out of 5 starsReviewed on 1/9/2024
I started before he was "cold" and has this tone like we were wasting his time by asking for help.
- 3 out of 5 starsReviewed on 12/19/2023
Patient was miserable bc she has autism and she had to wait over an hour to be seen by the dr.
- 1 out of 5 starsReviewed on 12/11/2023
Made us feel like we were bothering him. Automatically assumed that we wanted surgery when we were just referred to orthopedic doctor as next step in my daughter's treatment. Didn't speak directly to my daughter about her issues instead directed all questions to me.
- 5 out of 5 starsReviewed on 10/17/2023
Dr. Ward is great! He explains things well, and provides insight that is helpful and realistic. I would recommend him to anyone.
- 4 out of 5 starsReviewed on 10/10/2023
Dr. Ward was not overly warm and he didn't include my child in any of the discussion or really speak to her much at all. He examined the top of her buttocks and didn't give a warning or ask permission before he did this and she was embarrassed. However, he was very experienced in the field and very knowledgeable so we will continue to see him because of his expertise.

This guy was so cold & lacked any type of bedside manner. He was in such a hurry and the only answer he gave us was" give it time". Made us feel as if our concerns were foolish. We will be getting a second opinion.
- 5 out of 5 starsReviewed on 5/30/2023
Short, sweet and to the point which I appreciate
- 5 out of 5 starsReviewed on 5/16/2023
Dr Ward has always taken his time to speak directly to my daughter. His thoughtful care makes a difference in her appointments.

Terrible bedside manner, not a candidate for surgery so he had no concern for anyway to help or recommendations.
