My sons appointment was scheduled at 9:30 AM and we were not seen until 11:30 wjhich I understand things come up but it would have been kind to be notified because we waited with a baby for 2 hours in an exam room. When we were finally seen, the doctor literally spent 3 minutes in the room with us and said he had no concerns and he did not need to see our son back.

We consistently have an issue with the amount of time we wait for this provider to see us in the exam room. Often, we are the first patient on his schedule for a follow-up visit, and we wait well over an hour, sometimes two, before he comes into the room. While we respect his time and arrive for our appointments in a timely manner, it doesn't seem that he respects the time of his patients. My husband and I both work full time jobs and have to take off time to go to our son's medical appointments. When we schedule an 8:30 or 8:45am appointment (usually the first one), I don't expect to still be waiting for the provider to come into the room at 10:00 or 10:30am. It shows a lack of respect to us and our time, that he does not follow his scheduling. If he is not able to make it into clinic by 8:30am, then please do not schedule appointments until later in the morning. Please be considerate of your patient's. Our time is valuable as well.

Driving 3 hours, to be there 30 minutes prior to appointment like I was asked, then having to wait an hour and a half after the scheduled appointment to see the doctor was a bit hard on us, but can completely understand if the doctor was with a other patient who absolutely needed him.

my son was going to have a scary surgery where he went in to cut a tethered cord. Dr. i an Pollack came to see him before he left the hospital and to answer any questions I had about my 9 month old. He is hands down the best Dr at CHP and treats us as family. I can not say enough good things about him and his team thank you for everything.

excellent physician, por bedside manner. we were the first scheduled patient of the day and waited over 1 hour to be seen by him. no updates on his arrival time were provided to us. this was quite inconsiderate
