I thought Dr Carty and her staff were friendly, easy to talk to, and were highly educated. They made me feel they had my best interest for my health decisions.

I have raved about how wonderful Dr. Carty and her team are for months. I deal with a lot of doctors for work and have received many compliments on my incision. Her bedside manner is the best I have ever had with any type of doctor. Even the resident Julie I will never forget for how comfortable she made me and relaxed during any interactions. Julie will also been a wonderful doctor.

I was very pleased with Dr. Carly. She was very easy to talk with and took a lot of time reviewing my past medical history and addressed concerns about how this new medical condition would be affected by them.

Wonderful surgeon, so grateful to have had her!

April 02, 2019

I found the entire experience with this provider highly unsatisfactory and insulting. The provider belittled me because I was clearly wasting her time because I did not need a surgeon. Nowhere in my conversation with this office did I ask to see a surgeon nor did anyone else say that I needed to see a surgeon. I simply wanted to see an endocrinologist to discuss the possible connection between weight gain and the thyroid. This provider told me in no uncertain terms that this theory was a myth and I was basically stupid for believing it. I was relying on what and whom my PCP had suggested I should contact and not on any article I had read in some uninformed magazine as she very bluntly suggested I had. This provider may be an excellent surgeon (a term she repeatedly used to describe herself lest I be too dense to comprehend her lofty status) but she clearly lacked the most basic people skills. To be blunt, I was stunned, embarrassed, and hurt when I left this office.

Dr. Carty was extremely caring and took the time to explain the procedure and risks. It was evident that she cares about the well-being (both physically and emotionally) of her patients. I feel very fortunate to have found this doctor to guide me through a challenging time.
