Good doctor. He is kind and caring.

February 26, 2018

He corrected a tentative false diagnosis of my problem and thereby radically helped me as a result of a simgle examination

December 12, 2017

Dr. Schoen had two residents with him. They saw me first and then he came in. From the receptionist to the intake nurse everything was first rate. Dr. Schoen is obviously a world-class GI physician. He was respectful, thoughtful and very thorough. He had great depth of knowledge but also indicated he regularly consults with physicians at other centers and searches the literature for best evidence.

Dr Schoen, his nurse Mark, and staff are very professional and courteous at all times!

September 26, 2017

Dr. Schoen was by far the BEST doctor I have been in contact with. I have not idea what would have happened to be if it were not for Dr. Schoen.

From the start, I was disappointed that the doctor did not shake my hand. I don't think I have had this to happen to date in Pittsburgh. The doctor also did not complete a physical assessment (look at my throat, check my pulse, breathing, etc.). It did not appear as if the doctor reviewed my medical records prior to starting our visit.

dr. Schoen was very helpful and communicative.

March 28, 2017

I felt, because all my test results were good , that my signs and symptoms I was experiencing were not relevant and we're dismissed.

Dr. Robert Schoen, MD has correctly diagnosed my health problem and advised me correct drugs to treat my health problem that i was facing last two years. After taking the drugs prescibed by him, my health condition and my confident level have been improved. I am very much greatful to him for his excellent diagnosis and his treatment.

The staff was very helpful and caring. Dr. Schoen, who had seen me prior to the rift between Blue Cross and Blue Shield, had been by doctor. I turned 65 this summer, so I reinstated my time there and went back to UPMC. Dr. Schoen does a great job
