I have been following with Dr. Guido since 2013 when he performed my surgery. He and his staff have always been extremely helpful, professional, and courteous. I have the utmost confidence in his ability to provide safe and effective care for his patients.

I love Dr.Guido and his staff I would recommend his office and staff to everyone

I am a relatively new patient of Dr Guido's as my gynecologist for many years retired. I first came to Dr. Guido with a medical problem (prolapse of uterus and bladder). I am extremely pleased with the care that Dr. Guido has given to me. He is kind and understanding. He explains things in depth and uses illustrations to further aid with his medical explanations. He never rushes through the appointment and spends as much time as needed to answer all questions that I have. I think he is a wonderful doctor. I hear he is a great surgeon which gives me some peace of mind as my condition will ultimately result in surgery in the upcoming months.

Dr. Guido is an awesome guy. The time and attention he gives to me and patients and unheard of in this business!

Dr. Guido is hands down the best doctor I have ever interacted with in my entire life (physical health - I love my therapist). He is warm, kind, authentic, thoughtful, patient, obviously brilliant and accomplished, and extremely emotionally intelligent. I have discussed very emotional issues pertaining to my sexual and reproductive health and fertility with him, and every time I felt better speaking with him. He's obviously insanely busy and in high demand but he makes every patient feel important and that their time is valuable too and he doesn't show any feelings of being rushed or stressed. Every patient in this country would be lucky to have a physician like Dr. Guido. I really cannot praise him enough and tell every single person with whom I discuss my healthcare ever that he is absolutely amazing. UPMC is extremely lucky to have him at Magee and I hope he is treated with the respect he so obviously deserves. All that being said, he is also respectful of the other clinical staff and treats them with humanity and respect, at least as far as I could tell. At no point did I feel like I was interacting with his ego or being condescended to, which has been the case with a number of other doctors over the course of my life. The final thing I'll share is that he strikes the absolutely perfect balance between clearly conveying what he views as the best course of action based on his medical expertise and all relevant factors related to health-related decision making (or clearly articulates pros cons and potential risks) and empowering the patient - in this case me - with a feeling of agency and autonomy. I'm sure he gets notes like this often, but please share this with him.

I appreciate Dr. Guido's knowledge, experience and especially his genuine and genteel demeanor. His nurse that took my vitals is always so kind and sweet.

I will always appreciate Dr. Guido for talking to me and helping me understand that with the right information and understanding I can make the right health decisions.
