My tremendous pain from Achilles tendonitis prompted this visit to Dr. Mcgough. While he was very compassionate and empathetic of my condition, he was also very firm in telling me how a large part of its management depended on me, and that is to try as hard as I could to stop guarding my foot and exercise/stretch it instead. As I am a doctor myself, I could be a difficult patient ( healthcare people, admit this!). His confidence and professional decorum left me with no doubt that I was being managed by the best. Dr..Mcgough is THE best. I totally loved the nurse who attended to my needs! Georgie. Staff were warm and courteous as well. These people deserve a raise!

I would like for the provider to do more listening instead of not letting you even finish your sentences before hes giving you an answer. The provider was surprised I was taking a medication that his PA prescribed to me. Physician did not fully explain what I was diagnosed with and what my future holds for this disease.

Our treatment was excellent. Of special note was what occurred when lab work was ordered. since we live 2+ hours away, it was necessary to complete the lab work while we were there. When we expressed our concern about our son's behavior while we waited at the lab, the staff member called down to the lab and reported our concern. when we got to the lab, we were taken to a more private area to wait and taken soon after. Made a possibly stressful event much easier.
