The doctor was considerate explaining my shoulder problem, he was pleasant and personable to me and my husband.

He was dismissive and told me if I didn't need a hip replacement there was nothing he could do for me and unless I wanted an injection I would have to live with the pain.

Very extensive explanation

We got off to a bit of a rough start. A miscommunication about an X-ray. Kind of stressed me out. I didn't want to there anyway bc of my previous cancer diagnosis. But by the end of the appointment I felt like he genuinely cared about me and I'm thankful he was able to solve the issue with a simple X-ray after my regular oncologist had put me through many other unnecessary tests.

I have already referenced someone to him

I didn't get a good feel that the provider understood my situation. He also didn't give me clear guidelines about next steps in my care. This is the first time that I met this provider and it seemed as if he was "annoyed" that I was a new patient. The only clear follow up that he gave me was that he wanted to see be back in 1 month and no surgery. I didn't feel confident that I left there knowing if I should walk and bear weight or how to recovery as best as possible from the injury.

Dr. McGough listened to my questions and provided me with answers/information on each one. Positive interactions with him and his colleague.
