Dr. Lee and his students were outstanding during all three of my encounters (consult, surgery, and follow-up). Dr. Lee was extremely thorough with explaining the procedure that I was having and took care to answer all of my questions. He made me feel like he truly cared about me not just as a patient, but as a person. Before he entered the room for my 4-week post-surgical follow-up, I could hear him telling his students about me / my case...and it only confirmed for me that I had been referred to the very best surgeon. Dr. Lee knew exactly who I was, why I had opted for the procedure that I had, etc. He knew the person, and not just the patient. Dr. Lee took the time to go through the photographs from my surgery with me, which was really fascinating. Finally, when I joked with him that I hoped to never see him again, Dr. Lee told me to please get in touch with him in the future to let him know that "everything worked out okay" with me. Thank you, Dr. Lee, for being so wonderful!

Dr. Lee was very professional and respectful. The clerk and nurse who assisted during exam were very professional and respectful.

He was thouroh and quick

Dr. Lee seems very knowledgeable, but he is rather to the point and I didn't feel that he took much time to listen to my history or review it before hand. He was finishing up notes on another patient when I went in to meet with him, and I had to ask clarifying questions to really understand my options for treatment. At the end of the appointment I asked Dr. Lee to order blood work because I had been feeling fatigued and have a history of low iron at times, including having had a blood transfusion in 2015 due to blood loss during periods, and he didn't seem aware that I had had a transfusion, even though I documented it on the electronic and paper questionnaires I completed. This prompted him to ask me more about the level of bleeding in experiencing, which I feel would have been an appropriate question to ask earlier since one of the reasons for my visit was heavy bleeding, along with severe pain and an preliminary diagnosis of Endometriosis from a UPMC gynecologist. My blood work results came back two days ago with 8/21 areas flagged as high or low. I never got a follow up call about the results and instead have made an appointment to follow up with my PCP. I have a great deal of respect for Magee but this particular appointment didn't stand up to Magee's reputation.

I really loved Dr. Lee's work as a surgeon and as a provider. My visit was a post op hysterectomy visit. However, I was a bit disappointed and left with my jaw dropped when he gave me a pelvic exam, asked me if I had any questions, and handed me my surgical report and THAT WAS IT!! I'm not sure if management has the patient time so short, or if the patient caseload is that heavy. But, I was blown away by this. I've see Dr. Lee 3 times. 1st was my initial visit. 2nd was pre-op before my hysterectomy, and 3rd post op. He's been thoroughly professional the other times. I just don't know why he wouldn't take the time to go over my post op report with me. My incisions were super small. My pain was well controlled. Chris, the nurse and Patty... pre-op and post op handled my needs exceptionally well. I'm sure my insurance and I will be billed as if the visit was a full one. I don't know what happened that day, but thankfully I'm someone who does have post secondary education. Not everyone does. I REALLY am so thankful for Dr. lee. I live a pain free life now. My quality of life has made a full turn around. No more pain that knocks me down. I was fully prepared for a larger set of incisions, but he has pristine suture work. I think maybe if it was a scheduling issue and things were tight, then the upper management needs to really consider more time for patients. As good of a surgeon as he is, he's probably in high demand. I'm very grateful Dr. Kelly referred me to him. and in closing Dr. Lee listened to me when I requested that if he saw my tubal clip that was off of my tube, to please get it and he did which some may not have even wanted to take the time. But that too was very important to me for pain reduction. and he cared enough about my needs to remove it. Thank you Dr. Lee because all in all I could almost cry gratitude tears knowing I'll never suffer like that again. I could've stayed locally to Uniontown, but I wanted the best of the best.

Dr. Lee was excellent!! With an easy smile and manner, he explained everything very clearly, relayed how a procedure to correct this condition would be done, answered thoroughly all of our questions and listened intently as they were asked. Was pleasant and helpful, placing all the information before us so we could make an educated and contemplative decision as to next steps in the planning of the procedure to correct the gynecological condition. He put our fears at ease by projecting a confident, competent and experienced care giver and specialist who was sensitive to the needs of his patient.

very good

Dr Lee is an exceptional specialist, very knowledgeable in his field. However, he has a poor bedside manner and doesn't listen to the concerns of his patients.
