The provider needs to learn to talk with someone to help them see the overall issue not just ask bluntly. Talking will help you find out more things than bluntly asking then getting slightly upset when the patient does not know what a condition is and does not say it until you talk about other things.

Doctor Hutzel recommended I carry an Epi pen due to my allergies. I was totally against it. After listening to what could happen if I needed it, digesting this information, I immediately filled the prescription and now carry it with me. I never had allergies (I am 68 years old) so this is quite a learning curve for me. Doc recommended I see an allergist. I received a telephone call before I got home the office already had me set with an appointment the very next day. Truly amazing and so appreciated.
