Dr. Forsythe was great. She was very nice and very helpful before my surgery & the surgery itself was much easier than I expected it to be. I had an umbilical hernia repaired & there was very little pain involved in the recovery. I never took anything other than Tylenol & Ibuprofen for the discomfort & that was only for the first 3 days. So far everything looks good. My abdomen is much more symmetrical than it was & appears to be healing nicely.

Dr. Forsythe is nice and listens to you, but she does not respond to messages in MyUPMC or those left with her staff. I've had to schedule another appointment just to talk to her. This wasn't a one-time problem, it happened every time I needed to reach her about a complication. I will not got to her again.

Dr. Forsythe is excellent. I appreciate the way she discusses options and explains what is happening. She helps me to assess the pros and cons of various options.
