Adam Slivka, MD, PhD, is an assistant professor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and the associate chief of clinical affairs for the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.
Dr. Slivka is board-certified in gastroenterology and internal medicine. He received an undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Mich., and a medical degree at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York. Dr. Slivka completed a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in gastroenterology at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston.
Dr. Slivka is a member of professional organizations, such as, the American Medical Association, American College of Physicians, American Gastroenterological Association, American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, and the American College of Gastroenterology. He is a fellow of the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and of the American Gastroenterology Association.

This is the second time that I've met Dr. Slivka. He's the most caring human and doctor. He listens and asks questions. He is very knowledgeable and caring. He's the best! I tell people about him all of the time. He goes above and beyond, I wish there were more people like him in this world.
