I can't say enough positive things! She listened to me!!! I've gone through years of doctors brushing me off and not believing me. Then I met Dr. Liu and that all changed.

May 21, 2019

was really good visit

May 09, 2019

I did not see Dr Liu as much as I thought I would or should. I saw a resident doctor for the better part of my time in this office. However, the resident doctor seem to be extremely through and spent time with Dr Liu talking about my medical past and present and how to handle my existing ptoblem. Dr Liu then came into the examining room to talk to me with the resident doing most of the talking.

Dr.Liu and her resident, Dr. Linsenmeyer, were very thorough. Dr. Lindsenmeyer took a complete health history and asked many questions about my hand, shoulder and arm pain. I hope the injections and the physical therapy will be helpful. Thank you for your kindness and the excellent care you provided.

Dr Liu is a thoughtful and caring provider

March 21, 2019

Dr Liu did not ask me why I sought an appt with her. She did not ask how I was...she did not tell me that she had read my medical history. Instead...She asked why I had not followed up with a rehab MD that I had seen 3 yrs ago at UPMC...upon entering...not why I was here to see her. She quickly looked at MRI results from my thoracic spine that I provided. My entire T spine is very painful with unrelenting crippling pain. ...with spondylosis, stenosis and degenerative disc disease. I've had both cervical and lumbar fusions for severe stenosis in past. The thoracic spine now diseased. I had hoped she would acknowledge that I do have pain....based on my MRI results....but no. No empathy expressed. Very business-like....and anxious to get done with me. I know she does acupuncture....but she did not suggest this to me....as one means of better pain control. I forgot to ask her for a thoracic brace....she did not suggest a brace. She referred me to others for RX. I thought she did thoracic steroid injections(as a means of pain control)......but when I asked....she does not. So...a Huge waste of time with her....Very disappointed in her. I drove a long distance to see her...paid for parking, etc...in good faith. I give up on UPMC specialists. No empathy expressed. Patients are objects. Always in a hurry. I will seek medical care in a smaller community....and only seek RX at UPMC for complex procedures.
