Eva Szigethy, MD, PhD, has focused her clinical and research interests on designing integrated medical psychiatric models of care for patients with chronic disease. Dr. Szigethy is a Co-PI on a $6 million PCORI grant evaluating how behavioral technical innovations can enhance integrated care delivery using patients with inflammatory bowel diseases and behavioral symptoms as a model. She is also helping develop behavioral technology, digital tools and telemedicine to enhance care delivery for adolescents and adults across the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) system in her leadership role as Behavioral Director, UPMC Chief Medical and Scientific Office.
