Barring an emergency on one occasion, Dr Goitz is generous with his time in post-op visits, and has monitored my case, which had an unusually slow recovery, very closely. I blame myself for not getting in contact with him in the first two weeks after surgery, when a tight binding could have been loosened, perhaps avoiding a 'frozen hand' syndrome. This is a remarkable surgeon who unlike some specialists deals effectively with patients (and their lay questions) out of the operating room. He knows that a bit of moral support in physical therapy does count.

Dr. Goitz is fabulous!

August 18, 2017

Dr. Goitz did a muscle graft surgery on me about 8 years ago. I am having issues due to the complexity of my injury even now so I found him. He changed my life with that surgery and I now have limited movement of my arm. Before, I had none at all. I wouldn't be where I am in life if it wasn't for him. I started crying at my visit. He thought it was because I was talking about my arm. I was actually crying because it was very overwhelming to be seen by the doctor who changed my life and understands my injury.

Dr. Goitz was kind and answered the questions that I had. I did, however, have a long wait. My appointment was at 1:45 pm and although I was seen by a resident within a half hour of arrival, I waited an additional half hour in the exam room to see Dr. Goitz.
