Anto Bagić, MD, PhD, FAES, FACNS, is a neurologist and is certified in neurology, epilepsy, and clinical neurophysiology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He is chief of the Epilepsy Division at UPMC, as well as director of the UPMC Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, director of the University of Pittsburgh Comprehensive Epilepsy Center, director of the UPMC MEG Epilepsy Program, and chief scientific advisor of MEG Research. He is also a professor of Neurology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He received his medical degree from the University of Zagreb Medical School and completed his residency at Georgetown University Medical Center, followed by a fellowship at the National Institutes of Health.

Dr. Bagić’s clinical interests include indications, patterns of use, and practice of MEG, as well as drug resistant epilepsy (DRE) and advanced pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatments of DRE. His research interests include the application of MEG in understanding epilepsies, dementia, and cognitive processes. He has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals and is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, the American Epilepsy Society, the American Clinical MEG Society, and the American Clinical Neurophysiology Society.
