Dr. Furman was excellent. I appreciated his being honest and open about the fact that he did not know what was causing my dizziness nor could he offer any solutions! He asked diverse questions, advised me against taking certain medications, and answered all my questions. He looked me in the eye, was engaged and concerned, and spoke articulately. I would recommend him highly.

I would absolutely recommend Dr. Furman & his staff to anyone experiencing my same problem. Dr. Furman was able to pinpoint what was wrong with me & showed me exactly what happened that caused my symptoms. Dr. Furman checked with Emily who was able to get me a therapy session that same day!! I didn't even have to schedule van appointment, go anywhere else, or even wait long!! Marissa was very professional. I could tell she was very knowledgeable & caring. She knew exactly what to do & my symptoms have gone away, & I feel so much better!! She gave me information about locations near where I live where I can get the same treatment if my symptoms come back. Thank you!P.S. I can't say enough about Dr. Furman. Wonderful bedside manner, & he & his staff gave me wonderful care!

It was the best medical experience I ever received for my condition. That includes better than John's Hopkins and a world renowned specialist in Delaware. Dr. Furman was clear, curious and absolutely on-point with his diagnosis and treatment plan

- 3 out of 5 starsReviewed on 6/17/2024
I felt like I waited all day to see the doctor and I only saw him for a few minutes and I am not sure if my condition can get better or what happens if PT doesn't work. I didn't really get time to process the info at all or ask any questions and the doctor was already out the door and on to the next patient. I am excited that my issue was finally discovered.
- 4 out of 5 starsReviewed on 6/7/2024
A couple more minutes to process what I was being told & to discuss the medication would have been nice
- 2 out of 5 starsReviewed on 5/29/2024
Every time I tried to ask a question he kept interrupting me and I feel like he wasn't trying to listen to what I had to say about my concerns

Great experience, just wish we had more time with Dr Furman to discuss results of tests, understanding recovery time, etc. He seemed rushed. He needed to end the visit with "do you have any other questions".
- 2 out of 5 starsReviewed on 4/4/2024
We waited 45 mins to see Dr. Furman. Then he was with us for less than 30 mins. I did not feel he showed any concern or care for my situation. I felt that I was spoken to as if I had the intellect of a child. After he left I felt anxious and emotional about how and what he presented to me.
- 5 out of 5 starsReviewed on 3/29/2024
Will definitely recommend.

The UPMC Mercy Hospital environment Is astonishing! Despite the fact the news regarding my condition was not so great the day Itself was a pleasure. Everyone and I mean everyone my husband and I spoke with including random people in the hallways as we made our way to different departments (quite the labyrinth) were absolutely the kindest, most helpful people I've every encountered. I can only say Thank you for making what I origionally was dreading, a really good day.
- 5 out of 5 starsReviewed on 12/7/2023
No bad experience
- 4 out of 5 starsReviewed on 11/15/2023
Discussion seemed superficial. No discussion of my patient survey; I wondered whether anyone had read it. No one wanted the previous medical records I'd brought as requested in the letter I'd received. I just sent a message through the online portal asking for more information.
- 5 out of 5 starsReviewed on 11/2/2023
I felt Dr. Furman and his team were very thorough and extremely knowledgeable. I think the treatment plan makes alot of sense.
- 4 out of 5 starsReviewed on 10/26/2023
Physician was concerned but unable to offer concrete solutions to my issue
- 4 out of 5 starsReviewed on 10/5/2023
Provided Dr Furman with a letter and radiology disc for review from my ENT physician and felt these were dismissed. That is why I was sent there, but he was more focused on confirming a diagnosis I am already being treated for.

Appreciate the care I received and am hopeful that it helps

Showed concern and compassion, thorough explanations, and listened

Assume this pertains to Dr. Furman. I guess he was in a hurry and it showed. Asked me no questions about anything related to my condition. I received no feedback on the variety of motion-related tests I had undergone during the morning. I was only shown a graphic of a skull and pointed out that my problem is in the middle ear. The only treatment option addressed was the rehab he recommended and he did not convey much confidence that it would be successful.I am almost 83 years old. Honestly I could not help but wonder if I would have received more attention if I had been younger. A "return on investment" issue.

He really didn't tell me what happened to me. He seemed to be in a hurry. In general it was a bad experience. I was expecting clarification of what happened to me and I didn't get it.
- 1 out of 5 starsReviewed on 5/15/2023
Asked several questions -physician was very rushed. I waited a long time for this appointment and doctor just said I needed to go to physical therapy. He then just walked out the door.
