The waiting time in between testing and the doctor visit was way too long

March 02, 2020

I have been looking for a diagnosis for a complicated problem for a long time. if Dr Furman is accurate he will be a miracle worker in my opinion.

I thought even if the doctor wasn't able to give us any answers or help he would at least refer us to other providers but he only spent 5 minutes with me and said there was nothing he could do.

he was very personal

Generally appointments with Dr Furhman leave me feeling as if he doesn't have a full understanding of how my condition impacts my daily life and functioning. I feel as though he just wants to throw medications at me without any regard for their efficacy. He also always asks me if he is prescribing my meds for me, and I find that strange. There was also an appointment where he asked why I was on a medication his PA prescribed, and when I responded that it was for my migraines, he exclaimed "You have migraines?!" He had diagnosed my migraines a year previously. He was also unable to definitively answer many questions related to my general health dealing with inflammation and possible physical therapy options.

Dr. Furman gave me new hope for my 42 years of Vertigo. I cried. We will start when I see him in June. Don't know what it is, but I will try almost anything.
