Nicole M. Donnellan, MD, is a gynecologic surgeon and is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Donnellan earned her medical degree at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and completed her residency and fellowship at UPMC. She is associate professor in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. She also is associate program director of the ob-gyn residency and of the fellowship in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery at UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital.
Dr. Donnellan’s work spans the practice of minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, translational research, and the education of trainees. She is active in clinical and translational research and led development of the Endometriosis and Chronic Pelvic Pain Center at Magee-Womens Research Institute and Foundation, which seeks to understand the pathogenesis, diagnosis, and treatment of endometriosis.
