Gaurav Arora, MD, is a pediatric cardiologist and is certified in pediatric cardiology by the American Board of Pediatrics. He is the associate director of electrophysiology and is an associate professor for the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He also serves as the associate vice-chair for clinical affairs, ambulatory care for the Department of Pediatrics. He received his medical degree and completed his residency at Baylor College of Medicine followed by his fellowship at Texas Children’s Hospital.
Dr. Arora joined the UPMC Heart and Vascular Institute in 2006. His clinical interests include electrophysiology. Dr. Arora has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals and is a member of the Heart Rhythm Society, Pediatric and Congenital EP Society (PACES), and the American Heart Association Fellows Research Day Task Force. Dr. Arora lives in the North Hills with his wife and three children. He enjoys baseball and biking.

Dr. Arora was amazing with my teen daughter. He was incredibly kind and detailed and his descriptions to her, and I could tell that he does this a lot and that patient will follow what he says. He did a great job of explaining what is concerning and what is not and of putting a plan together that worked well for myself and my daughter. What a brilliant and kind physician.

We were very impressed with Dr. Arora and his staff. He spent so much time with us, explaining things well not just to myself and my husband, but also directly addressing our 14yo son in the conversation. He was quite respectful, clear, detailed, and non-patronizing.
