I did not get an explanation of what to expect the next day or the amount of pain or discomfort I could experience the next day

February 14, 2017

excellent care....I am a retired physician who at one point also worked for UPMC.....Dr Goldstohm is an excellent physician with great bedside manner

February 03, 2017

while the staff was very friendly the doctor was very curt. he asked a question but I don't feel he listened to me. while I was talking he was reading my file and never made eye contact. I don't even think he was with me more than a few minutes. just told me I need an MRI because the steroid injection he gave me should have worked. I tried to tell him that he pain in my shoulder was coming from a different area but he didn't address that.

February 02, 2017

provider seemed rushed did not seem interested how injury happened/how my pain discomfort was. I spent $40 for a doctor to basically tell me I need an MRI and now I'll have to go back pay another $40 just to hear the results.

dr goldstrohm is the best

January 26, 2017

This was my first visit to this office. I was treated with respect and the entire staff seemed to be truly concerned about my son and took great care of him. They answered all questions and explained x ray throughly. I was very pleased

Dr Goldstrohm answers questions clearly and concisely and takes his time to do so. His professionalism and attention to detail, as well as his willingness to take time for each patient, make him an excellent role model for inexperienced physicians about to enter "the medical world" .

The physician came into the room, looked at the X-rays on the screen and began talking about how my fracture had healed and I could stop wearing my brace. When I responded that I haven't been wearing a brace, he was a bit aghast, and then I had to explain that I was in for the first time, a cyst on my wrist, and that this was not a follow-up. He had the wrong chart, that was clearly marked F/U. He quickly went out to get the correct chart, then came back in and was belittling the nurse for her error and seemed very mad at her. Yes, she made a mistake, but he could have easily avoided exacerbating the error by simply entering the room and saying "Hello NAME OF PATIENT HERE" from what was on his report. While errors can be made and there was certainly no harm in this one, the way that the physician handled it has ensured that I will not return to him.
