Dr. Reguerio's manner, courtesy, competence and intelligence are the factors that make him an outstanding physician (healer)

Dr. Ruguiero is an excellent and kind physician and shows genuine concern - he is truly an asset to UPMC.

Dr. Regueiro always takes a lot of time explaining things and is attentive to my needs. He does a thorough exam putting my mind to rest and brings us up to date on new medications and treatments.

Dr. Regueiro is TOP NOTCH. I have seen many GI providers in my lifetime and he is the best. Not only does he listen, but he speaks in terms that are understandable and makes sure you're ok with decisions. He also allows you to participate in decisions. Very receptive when asked a question and when responding to needs. Couldn't ask to have a better IBD specialist. UPMC is lucky to have him. I also want to mention that Emily, the social worker is EXCELLENT. She is extremely caring and responsive. Continues to search for what is best for you as the patient and won't stop until she does and that you are in agreement. Has compassion for what she does. She is an excellent addition to the IBD team. Those of us who suffer with IBD need to have more people like her around. She just gets it.

Honestly, as I was leaving UPMC after my appointment, I took a moment to think about how lucky I am to have Dr. Regueiro as one of my medical providers. He is so kind and thoughtful, and clearly cares for and respects his patients. SUCH a great doctor!

Most of my experiences have been positive.

good visit, but both of us forgot some followup care the provider intended to render; there was also some apparent confusion between doctor and nurse about prescriptions ordered
