Truly concerned about my condition

Dr Curren is a great person and a very good doctor.

Dr Curren was friendly, which made me feel at ease. His exam was thorough and he told me results of BP, EKG and etc. He listened to me regarding my symptoms and concerns. Dr Curren then suggested what tests should be done next and I agreed. He also asked if he answered all my questions. Going to a Doctor for the first time, you feel apprehensive, but Dr Curren made me feel at ease because of his personality, explanations, not being rushed and genuinely concerned and great at putting my mind in a positive outlook. The nurse/assistant who came in prior to Dr Curren was absolutely great.

Hands-down, this was the single best doctor visit I have ever experienced. I had total faith in the examination, the interpretation of present and past testing. I came with a small laundry list of questions that could be perceived as minor, cardiac related questions. Each subject was treated with respect, and Dr. Curren explained the foundations of each subject, the current state as it applied to me, and likely progression or outcomes. As a fairly healthy 69 year old, we can sometimes be quickly dismissed by physicians with a, "nothing to see here" attitude. This visit was the polar opposite. The single best doctors visit I have ever experienced.

VERY GOOD LISTENER!!

I would never trust any one else with my care except for Dr. Curren. In my 70 years, I don't think I've ever met a physician more informative, patient, encouraging, and really interested in his patients. I was in heart failure and also had an abdominal aortic aneurysm. Dr. Curran encouraged me so much when that all occurred To me he is exactly what a doctor should be. I can never thank him for all that he's done for me.
