I felt judged during the appointment (my weight, my profession, how I've obtained my medication...) He seemed to have a one size fits all approach to patient care and didn't seem interested in helping me navigate insurance coverage or have any specific recommendations for my health journey beyond basic information that can be googled. I chose this practice because I heard such good things about patient care & advocacy. I'm glad this was a virtual appointment and that I didn't waste my time driving into an office. I was embarrassed by his overall demeanor.

I really like Dr. Mahmud and have been a patient of his for years. He is thorough and responds back quickly to questions and test results. But this appointment he seemed to be rushing me through the visit and the appointment was over rather quickly. I was able to ask questions and voice concerns, which he did address but I felt that he was rushing me; not like his usual appointments with me.

The Dr provided me with great detailed information concerning my medical condition and available medical and medicine options, he responded to my questions and listened to my comments.

I waited half a year for this appointment, it is not ideal to be pushed into a program that is not ideal for my life and/or location. If a provider was going to help, it would have been nice to have something started rather than an option that is not ideal for my life and routine and location. He gave no other options, just to rule out his suspicions. I already know my suspicions and I know my body and I know what worked and this doctor chose not to respect my knowledge of what has worked. I want to keep this in laymen's terms, after having a discussion regarding a treatment for binge eating and treatment, I was told by the doctor that I was interested in implementing a weight loss routine to start immediately. This physician had no interest in what I had to say about what an ideal treatment would look like for me.

Dr. Mahmud is a walking encyclopedia. He knows his specialty thoroughly.

Dr. Mahmud clearly displays being genuinely dedicated to the health as well as the best interests and wellbeing of his patients. He is attentive to his patient's questions and concerns. My experiences, my appointments, with Dr. Mahmud have proven that he is consistently patient in allowing for/accommodating his patient to acquire clarity and understanding as he defines diagnosis and prognosis.

Dr. Mahmud gave me excellent information about the agreed upon treatment, how to get it scheduled, what to expect from the medication, and when to contact the office if there were problems. He also gave a summary of the plan before I left the office which was very helpful.

Dr. Mahmud was an excellent listener and answered all of my questions, explaining the pros/cons of different treatment options so I can make an informed decision. Dr. Mahmud was also very prepared for the appointment, having already reviewed my questions, scans and chart. The preparedness really started the appointment off in a great way, and it really left an impression. I'm don't believe I've ever had a doctor be so proactive in reviewing my medical records and reason for visiting so thoroughly before!
