Dr. Berg is a rock star. Please make sure that you give him a serious raise around performance appraisal time. I am in human resources and you don't want to loose him---GIVE HIM A HUGE RAISE---whatever you are paying him is not enough!

Dr Berg displayed no caring, empathy, or regard for my pain whatsoever. His diagnosis may be correct, but he did not explain the physiology of the condition, the symptoms. He did not ask when the pain was worse, what worsens the pain, what alleviates the pain. His response to any question I asked was "well, I don't know anything about that". Over, and over again. I expect more than this from a specialist.

I find Dr Berg to thorough, yet efficient. I never waste time waiting around or talking about things I already know. The regimen he has me on now has me feeling the best I've felt in the three years since being diagnosed with RA.

I have been holding this feedback off for quite some time and feel as if it is deserved to be spoken about. I have been seeing Mr. Berg for the past 3 years and each appt I was not listened to, rushed out and was never provided with any sense of direction/comfort regarding my disease aside from taking the prescribed medicine, getting my eyes checked and that I will be fine. Additionally, I was told my medicine was all there was for me after asking a number of questions and received the following types of responses, "There are no stats that support such things as: probiotics, any sort of vitamins, etc. It is worrisome that a doctor feels as if this is any way to maintain relationships with patients regardless how severe the disease is. I felt as if this feedback was needed so that this is brought to your teams attention. This situation alone defined what the "traditional medicine" perception is and am extremely disappointed with my overall experience. I scheduled this appt to see if my doctor would put in the effort and act concerned regarding my medical questions and as a result, it was the same as previous appts and left me only wanting to switch doctors and wonder how other patients are treated and taken care of...
