The appointment was made for 8am, with Dr Green. Was called day before saying it was pushed back to 8:30. Dr Green never came into the exam room to.see my son. Her assistant saw him. All she said to her assistant was telling the dad see you in 2 years. We've never had this happen in the 11 years we've been coming to Children's. If I make an appointment with a Dr in feel we should be able to have 5 minutes of their time. Not just an assistant. The main dr needs to also attend the appointment. that is why appointments are made.

Dr. Greene is the best! She's extremely smart, kind & caring! She always makes us feel that she's genuinely concerned about our daughter. We feel so blessed to have our daughter in her care!

she was friendly, however I don't think she took my child's symptoms seriously.

DR Greene had an excellent bedside manner. She listened to all of our questions and concerns. She gave us the good and bad information straight forward. She was honest, yet caring and compassionate to both me and my 15 year old daughter.

I am forever grateful for Dr. Greene and all of the UPMC Childrens staff for saving my sons life.

I feel as the doctor was very knowledgeable about what she was talking about but feel i was left pretty much clueless and very undecided about a decision i had to make about my child's health. We had to choose between 2 surgeries and it was the hardest decision i ever had to make. Wish we could have discussed it more. When it came down to it i picked the surgery i thought would be easier for my child. Now I'm doubting myself because the surgery is done but it isn't right and my son has to go back to surgery. We knew there was a chance that this surgery might not work and they would have to do a more complex surgery, but they NEVER once mentioned that the shunt they were placing may be placed wrong and they would have to go back in and do more surgery to fix it. I'm just not very happy with this whole experience

Dr Greene is caring and thoughtful while also being extraordinarily skilled. She is able to give you not great news in a manner that makes you feel she truly cares and gives you plenty of facts to educate you on your child's condition.
