I feel very confident in Dr. Behari. This was my first visit to his office, it was a referral.

April 13, 2017

Dr. Behari always takes the time to explain what the treatment plan will be and outline our health plan for the next 3-6 months. He seems genuinely concerned about my health.

Confused; I did not know what questions to ask. He confirmed a diagnosis based on the CT Scan report, gave a warning about liver failure if I have an upcoming surgery which didn't make sense to me. He did not explain that and I had 5 surgeries since 2012, three of them since 2014 and I did not ever have warning about liver failure with a need for a liver transplant. That scared me and he provided no explanation of it that I caught. I also have an upcoming surgery which I will not cancel. He did not suggest any treatment except weight loss and good nutrition. He did not specify any meds like Ursodiol which my cousin is on for her nonalcoholic cirrohsis of the liver and she has diabetes too. He had me hold out my arms like stopping traffic but didn't say what that proves or indicates so that was weird to me. He was professional and was recommended and he must be good or he wouldn't be part of the staff at this prestigious Thomas Starzl center.
