My experience at UPMC Digestive Health Care Center was very good.

Dr. Robert Schoen is great. Very good doctor. I've been seeing him for 22 years for my crohns. He's the best.
- 2 out of 5 starsReviewed on 7/30/2024
I did not feel like Dr. Schoen listened to my symptoms or my current concerns. He interrupted me speaking multiple times and seemed mostly focused on telling me that I was fine and how smart I was for treating my symptoms on my own. I understand that he was trying to stay on track with his appointment schedule and I have a long medical history, but it would have been nice if we could have talked more about my current symptoms instead of him dismissing what occurred when I recently was in the hospital. Especially since he did not seem to have looked at the records from that event.

The doctor has one of the kindest I have had in a long time. He was very generous with his time although, I still feel my age is part of every diagnosis and treatment that is recommended.

They did not care. It was a 2 and a 1/2 hour trip to get here for a few minute appointment. That did nothing to make me feel better.
