When using the camera device, he did not educate me on what to expect or how it would look or what it would show, he just started shoving it up my nose which was alarming. He did sanitize his hands which was great. But a more compassionate bedside manner would have been helpful.

Dr. Srodes did epitaxy's on one nostril last year- perfect. Did the other side at this visit. No problems. He is very good at what he does and is also very pleasant.

I felt that in discussing my ENT history, my symptoms or past medical history was dismissed and I was educated by the provider as to why I didn't actually have the conditions/symptoms that I have dealt with in the past. I also came in with a chief complaint that I feel was not really addressed. I feel like tests were only run to humor me and not out of concern for the new and worsening symptoms that I am still experiencing. Little to no effort was taken to obtain previous records either for continuity of care (labs, testing results, etc). Overall I was disappointed and left feeling worse that when I came in.

I have to admit, this was the first time I felt like I was an object and there was no connection. Perhaps it was me, perhaps the doctor had a poor or busy morning, perhaps I did not hear! It was odd and I am sure he is a great doctor, just telling you what I thought.

A good experience

I was very disappointed with my experience seeing Dr Srodes. I felt like he was dismissive of my questions, and almost seemed offended I was asking them. I told him I was frustrated because I didn't feel like we had gotten to the root of the problem, and that seem to make him Irritated with me. It was a very odd experience, one that I have never had with another physician.

I was very anxious about my condition and I now understand that it is not something to be anxious about, however the provider was not sympathetic to my anxieties or concerns nor did he elaborate on future steps for that particular concern. When he ran tests for another possible reason my throat was hurting, he did not tell me anything about the test before he did it and I was left completely in the dark about the process and decisions he made.

Again, Metropolitan ENT's clinicians always provide excellent care while being attentive to my condition and concerns. Before, during, and after treatment, their explanations of my complaints, possible causes, and course(s) of treatment are comprehensive and compassionate. I would and have recommended the practice as a result.
