Thulasingam Ravindramurthy, MD, CMD, FACP, MBA, is a senior medical professional with more than 20 years of experience. He is a practicing physician who is board-certified in internal medicine. Dr. Ravindramurthy received his medical degree from Stanley Medical College in Tamilnadu, India. After higher training in the UK and Ireland, he completed his residency at Mercy Catholic Medical Center in Upper Darby, Philadelphia.

In addition to practicing internal medicine, he is medical director at post-acute and long-term care facilities. He is a certified medical director and a committed senior leader who applies health care experience to sound patient decision-making while considering views from all sides for optimal solutions that make for an improved and lasting patient care experience.

Dr. Ravindramurthy is a fellow of the American College of Physicians and completed the “2018 Marshall W. Webster Physician Leadership Program” administered by the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business, University of Pittsburgh. He is a recipient of the “Frank E. Rath Award for Outstanding Achievement” in special recognition as a champion for fostering, promoting, and leading clinical quality initiatives in UPMC Physician Services as well as for recognition as a top performer.

Dr. Ravindramurthy graduated from the Executive MBA program from the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business, University of Pittsburgh in December 2020. He has been a champion of team building, performance improvement and management.

His special interest is the implementation of telemedicine in post-acute and long-term care facilities to prevent avoidable hospitalization and improve access to medical care after hours resulting in enhanced patient care, significant cost savings, and smoother workflow.
